The NZXT H510 Elite is a great PC case by design. Here is the NZXT H510 Review. However, the specifications of the NZXT H510 Elite are somewhat surprising
The NZXT H510 Elite measures 210x460x428 mm (WxHxD) and weighs around 7.5 kilograms. It has good build quality.
The left side part has a glass area in the upper part, which is flush and therefore looks appealing. The lower part was painted white. The only ventilation holes for the front fans are on the other side. This is otherwise clean. The right side part can be easily removed and reattached with thumbscrews.
The front has the same design as the left side panel. There is a glass area at the top and the lower part has been painted white. The manufacturer’s logo was also discreetly attached to the lower part.
The top has ventilation holes for a fan at the back. The power button and an audio, USB 3.1, and USB-C connection were installed at the front. The connections are modern, but also quite clear.
The back has a special feature with two vertical slot covers. Graphics cards can be installed rotated by 90 degrees via this, but the appropriate adapter is not included. Otherwise, the usual two holes for the mainboard cover and power supply, the remaining slot covers, and a pre-installed fan are available.
The feet, which are rubberized on the underside, can be removed if necessary, lowering the height of the housing by 2.5 centimeters. The fan of the power supply must then point upwards, as no more air can be drawn in from below. The existing dust filter would then also be superfluous.
We like the design of the glass side panel in the NZXT H510 Elite and the idea of the mechanism as well. All you have to do is loosen a thumb screw and pull off the side panel. It is held in place by the two visible round nipples.
In practice, however, it is difficult to reach under or behind the glass, so opening it took a little more patience than planned.
In the black interior, the white stripe is immediately noticeable, behind which the cable can be hidden or a reservoir can be attached. This should create a tidy lock, as hard drives, SSDs, and the power supply unit disappear under the lower panel.
In addition to the possibilities for good cable management, the other side is the Smart Device V2 device in the upper part, which we will go into in more detail later.
A 120 or 140 mm fan can be installed at the top. A 120 unit has already been pre-installed. On the other hand, there are no fan slots in the lower part.
Another 120 fans were pre-installed at the rear. There are also two illuminated 140 mm fans behind the front. Alternatively, there could also be space for a 280 mm radiator.
We really like the design of the NZXT H510 Elite, including the cable cover in the interior, which is a striking design element of the series. The front and side panels have been appropriately equipped with real glass and the luxury version of this series has been properly upgraded, especially for RGB fans. There are two RGB fans, an LED strip and the “Smart Device 2”, which can be used to control both the lighting and the fan speed. With additional software, many other values can also be monitored and controlled.

The fact that there are no quick-release fasteners should not bother users who do not upgrade or convert their computers frequently.
A lack of rubber on the hard drive cage, on the other hand, can have a rather disruptive effect if vibrations are transmitted to the housing. Users who only rely on SSDs have no problems with that either.
Also, a Windows 10 system should be installed so that the “Smart Device 2” hub can also be used. Unfortunately, the lighting or the fans cannot be controlled via the housing itself.
If you pay attention to these points, you will get housing with the NZXT H510 Elite, which will make RGB fans especially happy.
